The next step is promoting your Web site. They do not come just because you built it; you have to tell them about it first. There are many ways to promote your Web site, both online and offline. The thing to do is to create a marketing plan, then implement it.
You also want to be sure your computer will be able to handle your new business. Can it hold all the new software you are going to use without freezing? You want enough memory and hard drive space to handle everything you will be doing online. You also need a high speed connection, if at all possible.
Then, of course, you need to set up a payment processor. For most businesses, PayPal.com works in the beginning. As your business grows and matures, you may want to get a merchant account.
You also want to be sure you have the right applications to manage your business. You’ll need…
